Integrity management

Integrity management can be defined as a comprehensive program designed to aid facilities in managing their operations safely. The standard applies to all stages of the design and Capital Value Process (CVP).

It is a “cradle-to-grave” program that encompasses the full life cycle of an operational facility and is based on the clear identification of potential hazards associated with such facilities and the risk management program developed to control the hazards.

The total number of performance requirements related to the control and mitigation of hazards on offshore production installations are considerable.

The aim is to cover particular premises and assumptions that significantly affect technical conditions of safety barriers (safety systems/-functions and Safety Critical Equipment) in short or long-term. For the individual installation shall be incorporated in the 3-Year Integrity Management Plans and annual plans.
