Phased array

Our phased array software is designed to make the application of multiple focal laws as easy and convenient as possible. Our phased array software is contained within the familiar TD software shell and is therefore only a click away. The user ‘feel’ of our phased array module is similar to our pulse echo and ToFD software with Windows® style drop-down menus and tabbed windows for setting up the hardware. The TD Focus-Scan & TD Handy-Scan keyboards also feature shortcut keys to the left and right of the screen for mouse-free operation of the software.

Phased array setup is easy to implement through a logical progression of tabs that lead you through each action or choice. From defining the basics like UT mode, velocity, gates & filters to more complex advanced setups like focal laws, angle corrected gain, emission point override etc, our phased array software provides a smooth comfortable input environment.

Features
Together with the common controls for ultrasonic setup, Our Phased Array software also features:
• 8 or 14 Bit data output
• Up to 200Mhz sampling rate
• Up to 15Khz PRF
• Beam Apodisation
• Skip Correction
• Offset and Skew controls
• Probe geometry controls
• Dynamic (DDF) or discreet depth focussing
• Overlapping Gates
• Automated or Manual Focal Law calculation
• Time Corrected Gain (TCG)
• Focal Law Balancing (gain correction across sector scan or electronic scan)
• User defined A, B, C, D & S scan data display using Super-View

Usability
With our software the user can save setup parameters in a conveniently small file (easy to email) for future use. Setup information can be loaded from either setup files or data files thereby ensuring repeatability. All the setup parameters can be output to a text file for easy inclusion into reports or for auditing purposes.

AGR Field Operations Phased Array software is complemented by our TD Super-View Advanced Inspection Software application which gives the operator the ability to define data views in different combinations. Our software provides convenient tools for defect sizing, positional and amplitude measurement. Image colour definition representing depth or amplitude in both greyscale and full colour is simple and versatile allowing the operator to define colours that suit the application or indeed that provide him/her with optimum visual contrast.
