Reservoir Management services
The Reservoir Management division has an extensive record of conducting in-house exploration and reservoir evaluation projects. ISO standards apply for all contracts and agreements that we enter into.

Our Reservoir Management teams include geophysicists, geologists, petrophysicists, reservoir engineers, production technologists and economists. Our services cover the following spectrum:
Field Exploration/Development/Production Studies encompass definition of exploration and appraisal targets, reservoir description, reservoir development planning, reservoir rehabilitation, production technology and economic analysis. Within this service we cover:
- Data Management includes data management assistance and consultancy to oil companies as well as commercial databases
- Production Technology covers well completion design, well performance, sand control, production chemistry, stimulation, artificial lift and production optimisation. The early integration of well and completion design with reservoir development options is crucial to selecting the optimum development concept.
- G&G Studies covering sequence stratigraphy, seismic feasibility studies, interpretive seismic processing and 3D reservoir modelling
- Integrated Field Studies includes field development , development well planning and geo-steering, increased oil recovery and reservoir management
- Asset valuation and risk assessments
Exploration includes basin evaluations, exploration licence applications, ‘in licence’ exploration, definition of prospects and drilling targets.
Multi-client Exploration Reports encompass regional evaluation of exploration acreage prospectively based on open information including: structural reviews, play fairway analysis, seal, reservoir and hydrocarbon source rock prediction.
Business Consultancy is a specialised advisory service to managers and policy makers. We support clients with advice on critical operational and strategic decisions based on rigorous technical and commercial evaluation, providing a comprehensive analytical framework for fully informed, value-driven decisions.
Training has been provided at the very highest level since 1992, covering technical and commercial subjects, with over 30 courses currently available. All trainers are practising engineers, geoscientists or economists. Courses are run in-house for individual clients, tailored to specification.
Acquisition and Disposition Valuations are performed on behalf of the seller, the interested buyer or supporting financial institutions. Valuations may represent single assets, portfolios or complete company disposition.
Reserves Audits and Certifications are performed to standards accepted by bodies such as the London Stock Exchange, the SEC and institutional banks.
- Over the last 10 years the UK offices (TRACS) have become a well respected and fully recognised independent reserves auditor, providing reserves certification, competent person’s reporting and abandonment security provision estimates. The teams in the UK and Norway have been key to the successful commercial evaluation of many assets in support of acquisition and disposition (A&D) deals, raising finance and obtaining public listings for clients.
Operations Support is provided to advise on short and long-term decision making for producing assets. This draws in all reservoir, production technology and well related disciplines with the objective of maximising value in a producing field, on behalf of small operators or non-operating partners.
