AGR Petroleum Services has established itself as the leading operator of multi-well, multi-client rig campaigns which it has pioneered in Europe and Asia. These campaigns - created, planned and executed by AGR Petroleum Services - are the largest of their kind ever undertaken by an independent well management company and bring significant benefits to many small and medium-sized oil companies.
Rig campaigns provide the answer to a problem faced by many independent E & P companies that need to meet drilling commitments on time and to the highest standards demanded by legislation, regulation and good practice.
We start by understanding the precise requirements of individual operating companies, ascertaining essentials such as where they need to drill, the type of well required, geological and geophysical conditions and the time constraints. We devise a programme of wells in consultation with the consortium of oil companies that have agreed to share in a campaign. And, using our financial and contracting muscle, we secure a suitable rig for a period of time in order to drill the series of wells. This is the key to the success of campaigns for in a highly competitive market individual oil companies may find it difficult, if not impossible, to secure rigs on their own account at competitive rates.
