AGR Challenge for Staff

In April 2014, AGR challenged its personnel to collectively train 10,694 hours by the end of 2014. We achieved that goal 15 weeks earlier than targeted! We didn't stop there - by the end of the year, we managed to register 15,020 hours of collectively training.

AGR is a unique company encompassing a high number of milestones and pioneering achievements that have impacted the industry and add value to our clients’ projects including:
  • More than 500 well projects delivered
  • More than 1,000 reservoir studies completed
  • More than 9,000 consultants in the AGR Consultancy database
  • More than 190 training courses delivered annually
  • 4 unique software products developed

That’s 10,694 achievements accomplished.

Hence, AGR challenged its staff to collectively train 10,694 hours in 2014. The target was reached in 23 weeks by collectively training over 10,800 hours. We decided to continue all through 2014 to see how many hours do we manage to collect.

After 37 weeks of registering our training hours, the total amount of AGR collectively training sumed to 15,020 hours. More than 140 staff from AGR’s nine offices contributed to the Challenge. All participants helped raise £2,200 for Charity, just by participating.

All types of physical training activity were counted in the competition, covering walking, running, swimming, dancing, cycling, sailing, etc.

For each 500 hours achieved in targeting the initial goal of 10,694 hours, AGR added £100 donation to a charity pot.  After putting it to a global vote for our personnel, the funds raised during the challenge through AGR and personal contributions were donated to UNICEF.
