Well Completion Design was published in March 2009 and is used for courses in completion, including those run by the Drilling Training Alliance.
The self learning modules have been developed as part of the three-tier Petroleum Engineering Principal Competencies Programme. The programme has been developed with the primary objective of providing new petroleum engineers with the practical skills required to plan and supervise data acquisition campaigns. While designed primarily for petroleum engineers, parts of the programme can be used to provide wellsite witnesses from any engineering discipline with the means to manage wellsite data acquisition operations. The technical skills development programme material is designed for use on a self learning basis so that individual skills can be acquired as and when required for the job.
