In 2006 the total number of recordable incidents frequency (TRIF = incidents per million man hours) was 6.56 for the operations of the Norwegian AGR companies and the corresponding lost time incidents frequency was just 5,9.

In the same period, the average presence for the same group of companies was 97,9% (equal to 2,1% sickness absence). The turnover for this group was also low and less than 1% as average per month. All these results are well below the industry average.


Data from operational entities in Asia Pacific also show HSE results in 2006 which are remarkable good:

  • Upgrade of Crystal Ocean for Full Field Development with one single LTI (cracked rib from a fall)

  • Bringing the Crystal Ocean FPSO back on location and producing with no serious injuries or incidents

  • Cliff Head/Arrowsmith Crude Stabilisation plant on-line and producing with no serious injuries or incidents

  • Several drilling programs completed (Anzon’s Basker Manta Full Field Development, Nexus’ Culverin, Longtom and Crux fields, Stanwell’s Zerogen, Karoon Gas Megascolides program, AED’s Puffin-7 well) all completed with no serious injuries or incidents
