AGR Mongstad AS inspects, cleans and friction welds Drill Pipe and is ideally located to serve North Sea companies requiring fast delivery of Drill Pipe.

AGR Mongstad AS is a Drill Pipe Assembly Line (DPAL). The factory is based at Mongstad, close to Bergen – on the west coast of Norway. The facility covers an area of 17.000 m2. We can provide the following products and services:

  • New Drill Pipe 5” and 5 ½” diameter, range 2 standard API
  • The Drill Pipe can be supplied with or without internal coating, according to clients’ specification
  • Refurbish range 2 used pipe sections (replace warn tool joints)
  • Internal cleaning, sandblasting and recoating of used Drill Pipe
  • High pressure cleaning


    Our material inspection equipment (NDT) is of the highest quality. The sandblasting and coating facilities are an integral part of the production line.
