3D modelling and visualization
The benefits of modelling in 3D are obvious, even for moderately complex designs. All dimensions are easily accessible and the risk for collision between different structural elements is almost eliminated. A 3D model also forms the basis for traditional 2D drawings. A model can also be imported into analysis programs for evaluation of strength.
3D Animations
Use of animations for describing an operation or presenting a solution/product is a very effective form of communication. Instead of dealing with sketches and drawings, one can easily explain relatively complex sequences in an informative manner. An animation can describe the problem in detail, and projects involving several disciplines can start to focus on solving problems at an earlier phase. We focus on use of animations for operations, lifting of cranes, or use in HAZOP and SJA.
