GENERAL SPECIFICATION

The TD Pocket-Scan is arguably, for its functionality, the worlds smallest advanced ultrasonic imaging and analysis system. Providing the user with a comprehensive capability to satisfy virtually all ultrasonic inspection needs, the TD Pocket-Scan provides the ultimate portable system.

Perhaps the most unique feature of the TD Pocket-Scan is its extremely low power requirement that allows it to operate directly from a standard Notebook computer without any external mains supply (option), hence complete portability. The TD Pocket-Scan can be positioned adjacent to the probes to ensure the very highest signal quality which is only made possible by the use of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and low-power design techniques.

The system provides an outstanding capability for Time-of-Flight-Diffraction (TOFD), Single/Multi-channel Corrosion Mapping & other Pulse Echo techniques. The system is supplied with a Windows® XP Professional based, fully integrated and easy to use software package for on-line and off-line analysis.
