AGR Group ASA - Recruitment Fraud Warning
We have recently been made aware of fraudulent recruitment companies advertising positions of employment with AGR Group to individuals. These job offers are intended to acquire personal information from the applicants such as copies of visas, passports and other travel documentation, personal phone numbers, and signatures of agreement to their terms and conditions. This is an e-mail scam and it is recommended that you do not respond to them via e-mail or any other form of communication.
Anyone making application to a bona fide offer of employment from AGR Group would, in the first instance, be directly contacted by phone or met in person with a member from AGR Group, which can also be a member of staff from the divisions of AGR Petroleum Services, AGR Drilling Services, AGR Field Operations or, or their authorised representative, for an interview. This would be followed by legitimate information gathering through our HR or Consultancy Services departments during the recruitment process before an official offer of employment is made. AGR Group will not ask for money or payment of any kind from job applicants during the recruitment process.
Should any ‘company’, individual, or other agent representing themselves on behalf of AGR Group ask for money, bank details, or other personal information via the internet or otherwise through non-traditional hiring methods, this will not be a legitimate request from AGR Group. If you have any questions concerning the legitimacy of any potential employment opportunities with AGR Group, or believe you have received a fraudulent communication along these lines, please direct your queries to the contact information on this web site.
All our valid vacant work positions will be posted under Careers
