  • Conduct engineering designs as they pertain to the reservoir, wellbore and wellhead (upstream of the wing valve). Examples - completion, workover, stimulations, perforating, artificial lift design.
  • Conduct engineering designs as they relate to non-routine larger scope projects downstream of the wing valve but upstream of the CPF. Example -  GAP model construction and maintenance
  • Conduct engineering designs as it relates to subsurface data collection. Examples – production logging, tracers, PVT, well testing, pressure data acquisition, production allocation methodology
  • Conduct all technical analyses as they pertain to the reservoir, wellbore and wellhead (upstream of the wing valve). Examples – PTA, Nodal analysis, prosper models, PLT, MDT, cased hole logging, technical justification, payout economics
  • Construct and calibrate models and tools related to non-routine larger scope projects downstream of the wing valve but upstream of the CPF. Recommend workflows, methodologies and best practices for the use of these tools. Example -  GAP models, production allocation
  • Coordinate the execution of reservoir management strategies.
  • QA/QC of collected subsurface data and of the fluids injected and produced from the reservoir
  • Ensure production/injection optimization and intervention objectives as it pertains to the reservoir, wellbore and wellhead (upstream of the wing valve)
  • Communicate production engineering concepts to Reservoir Engineers and Geologists to facilitate reservoir management / development planning.  Actively collaborate with Drilling, Reservoir Engineering and Engineering Production. Ensure effective communication and information sharing takes place with Reservoir Engineering, G&G, and Engineering Production
  • Prepare technical documentation and make presentations to Company and Partners
  • Continually keep abreast of new technology for application to Company's projects
  • Ensure that all work is done efficiently, safely, and in accordance with the Company and Partners' established company practices and procedures, applicable laws and government rules and regulations (Algerian Oil & Gas Regulations).
Qualification requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.  Petroleum Engineering degree preferred
Job specific requirements
  • 8+ years of relevant petroleum industry experience, preferably with a major operator; work history to be biased towards production, operations, completions, and stimulations engineering.  Experience with EOR and preparation of contracts beneficial.
  • Possess strong skills in production engineering and reservoir surveillance 
  • Proficient with PTA Analysis (Kappa Saphir), Production logging (Kappa Emeraude), Production Surveillance (Schlumberger OFM), Nodal analysis (Petroleum Experts Prosper, GAP), MBAL, General (Microsoft Office Suite {Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook}, Adobe Acrobat, Internet Explorer)
  • Knowledgeable of Frac design
  • Willingness to work in a remote environment on a 28/28 day basis.Working knowledge of French and/or Arabic helpful
