Description
CannSeal™ is a company within the AGR group. Its portfolio covers developing and implementing a new technology called CannSeal™ which is specially developed for annular isolation. CannSeal™ is run on a standard electrical mono-conductor cable, and provides a durable seal after being injected and placed at the predefined location. The tool was run for the first time in a well in September/October 2012 in the USA and the prospects for future promise a steady growth in operation projects.

Main responsibilities
  • Assemble the CannSeal tool according to assembling drawings
  • Assist in establishing test requirements for tools and test equipment
  • Test the CannSeal tool modules/system according to test requirements
  • Set up test equipment and related documentation
  • Receive and prepare/inspect machined parts
  • Ensuring that all safety standards are up to date and adhered to
  • Making sure that all approved technical improvements are engineered into the service
  • Ensuring/give input to that technical documentation
  • Actively participating in the development and continuous strengthening of the AGR brand.
The position reports to the lead AGR CannSeal mechanical engineer. 
Qualification requirements
  • Engineering or Technical education
  • Minimum 3 years’
  • Mechanical background (machines/auto industry)
  • Experience in well intervention mechanical tools (preference only)
  • Solutions oriented with a ‘can do’ approach
  • Ability to work in a hectic environment
Job specific requirements
The candidate must be prepared for onshore and offshore related work in connection with CannSeal well operations.
