Description
AGR Enhanced Drilling designs, manufactures and operates drilling solutions for the global offshore industry. We provide safety-enhancing, benefit-delivering technology to our customers. Our RMR® (Riserless Mud Recovery) system, together with its sister technology CTS® (Cuttings Transportation System), has been deployed on more than 500 wells worldwide. Meanwhile, our EC-Drill® system has taken us into the exciting sphere of Managed Pressure Drilling. Enhanced Drilling has offices in Norway, the United States, Brazil, Azerbaijan and Australia.

Enhanced Drilling is seeking the right person to join our team as a Senior Designer for our Engineering and Product Development department.
 
Responsibilities will include:
Designing new drilling equipment
Designing new subsea modules and topside structures
Continually improving existing subsea and topside equipment
Developing fabrication drawings for use in the manufacturing process
Developing technical specifications
Fabrication follow-up, both in-house and external
Developing procedures for assembly and testing onshore, plus planning of installation offshore
Coordinating work between departments during assembly/testing
Interacting with other disciplines

 
Qualification requirements
MSc/BA degree within mechanical, marine or subsea engineering
Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience                                                                 
Experience in hydraulics, piping and/or design of subsea equipment/components, would be an advantage
Experience of 3D CAD tools, preferably SolidWorks
Knowledge of relevant offshore and subsea regulations and standards such as DNV, NORSOK, API and ISO
