AGR is an independent consultancy delivering well engineering and reservoir management as well as technical manpower and software solutions to the entire upstream life cycle.  The company has managed over 500 well projects in six continents and delivered more than 1,500 reservoir studies and asset evaluations in all global  hydrocarbon basins.

Our Norwegian Reservoir Management team comprises 20 professionals covering the disciplines of geophysics, geology, petrophysics, reservoir and petroleum engineering, well completions and production engineering, facilities engineering and petroleum economics. The team has on average of 20 years industry experience and an impressive track record from exploration, development and production projects as well as evaluations and audits in Norway.

AGR is now looking for a person to head up the team and develop the business further.

The primary role of the position is managing the reservoir team, providing leadership within a multidiscipline environment and deliver technically competent support to achieve project milestones and deliverables in accordance with the agreed project plan and budget.

The suitable candidate feels comfortable when given the opportunity to develop and nurture client relationships; advise, manage and work on a large variety of tasks and projects.
Qualification requirements
  • MSc degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience from the oil and gas industry
  • Technical experience and leadership roles within Petroleum Technology and Geosciences
  • A combination of E&P and oil services/consultancies background is an advantage
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English
