Project Manager - Mexico
What does your average day look like?
My average daily tasks vary quite a lot, as I am in charge of the coordination of the technical and economic evaluation for exploration and development opportunities in Mexico, Central America and the United States. My job is rather demanding and requires a lot of interaction with the technical teams within AGR and with clients whenever they have technical organisations.
What is the working environment like at AGR?
I am happy with the work environment at AGR as it provides flexibility. A good example is the way we use virtual meetings and share information via the cloud. Our use of technology reduces the need for travel, but technology allows us to maintain a great degree of face to face interactions to build dynamic teams.
Tell us a bit about your career development at AGR
AGR have allowed me to work on a wide variety of projects over my career; covering areas such as technical, financial and strategic business development. The sheer variety of projects in themselves have allowed for my continuous career development. I would also say that the flexibility allows for optimum time management.
What does AGR do to enable work-life balance?
Once again the aspect of technology plays an important role in work-life balance. By enabling communications remotely, we are able to work with several teams across various locations simultaneously, flexibly and effectively.
