AGR is the largest provider of innovative drilling solutions and upstream services.

To strengthen AGR HSEQ Services in Trondheim, AGR seeks a HSEQ Advisor with chemical/environmental background/experience. The HSEQ Advisor will provide environmental advice to the oil and gas industry in Norway with emphasis on chemical management.

We are looking for a HSEQ Advisor whose main responsibilities will be:

- Manage and follow-up chemical management in AGR’s operations
- Contribute to strengthen and developing the environmental services in AGR
- Contributor to a positive culture which builds on creativity, cooperation and customer attention


Be responsible for all processes, templates and procedures in AGR related to chemical management. This includes:

- Develop chemical reporting systems for rigs 
- Implementation, registration, monthly reporting and QA in environmental accounting systems 
- Produce Discharge Permit Applications
- Coordinate registration of chemicals in databases, check datasheets/HOCNF data sheets
- Follow up of discharge permits for the relevant fields/and or projects
- NOX reporting
- Annual reporting to the Authorities (Klif - Norwegian Climate and Pollution Agency) 
- Follow-up on contractors/suppliers of chemicals
- Participate in AGR drilling projects as environmental coordinator, e.g.
- General support in environmental issues 
- Environmental risk analysis, quality control of environmental data
- Participate as HSEQ advisor in other projects run by HSEQ Services

Qualification requirements

- M. Sc./Siv ing., preferably with HSE education. Chemical and/or environmental courses are positive supplements
- Good knowledge of use of MS Excel and MS Word 
- Structured, systematic and analytical

- Fluent verbal and written English and Norwegian
- Proactive and able to take initiative
- Capability to communicate formally and informally with personnel from other disciplines
- Integrity regarding own work tasks and responsibilities
- Capability to focus on customer, safety issues and other key areas
- Good cross cultural understanding
- Not afraid of a challenge
