AGR Reservoir Management is seeking a Senior Geophysicist to participate in any technical type of projects performed within AGR related to exploration and production for hydrocarbons. We are looking for an experienced professional with extencive knowledge and understanding of upstream activities in the marked and what is “state of the art” and specific area of focus in the industry.
As our new Senior Geophysicist you will get responsibility for own projects and will be responsible for total project deliveries as project manager. You will handle the quality control of your own geoscience work and the geophysical aspects of reports made by AGR, and will be expected to contribute in the development of new business ideas.
Qualification requirements
You need to have a minimum 7 years of discipline related work from the petroleum industry.
Job specific requirements
Technical Skills
  • participate in project development and idea generation for AGR
  • specialist in evaluation of new possibilities on exploration acreage based on integrated geological and geophysical evaluation
  • experience in integrated sequence stratigrapy studies
  • seismic interpretation
  • generate new ideas for multi client programs and/ ore develop new ideas for use of AGR competence
  • perform all other technical work related to AGR projects within the field of oil Exploration and Production
  • work on special assignments from AGR as a consultant for oil companies
  • project management

Business skills
  • Full awareness of how their work may impact financial results
  • Engage readily with clients and represent company on client matters and at industry meetings
  • ability to compose written documents and presentations
  • experience related to cost/benefit estimates, achievability, practicality, economical impact

Personal Skills
  • Work independently, with minimal supervisory guidance. Take responsibility for professional development
  • skilled at building relationships, good communicator and a team player
