AGR’s Well Management model adds value for its clients on complex projects by delivering continuity, experience transfer, flexibility, extensive technical knowledge and improved HSEQ results as well as access to resources. Last year, AGR established a specialised rig team to tackle the problem of sourcing rigs in an exceptionally tight market. With a particular focus on the North Sea, the team is also concentrating on the Falklands, the Mediterranean and Africa bringing together the drilling contractors and the needs of its clients.
The world’s largest well management group AGR was the first to introduce multi-client multi-well campaign bringing significant benefits for both rig owners and operators. The company is currently coordinating a campaign for the Bredford Dolphin rig involving four operators and 12 wells in the Norwegian North Sea for an initial period of 570 days plus extension options. It is also managing a multi-operator campaign for the Borgland Dolphin and is preparing for multi-well campaigns on behalf of MedOil and Genel.
AGR has spud a well every 10 days during the last 13 years. Recently AGR successfully delivered a wildcat HPHT well for RWE Dea Norway in an environmentally sensitive area in the central region of the Norwegian Sea. It also delivered two wells in the Barents Sea using the Leiv Eiriksson rig.

AGR’s UK Well Management team is working for Svenska on planning, managing and executing Operator’s upcoming exploration campaign offshore Guinea Bissau.
