Mark Graham, Director of Reservoir Management, said: “We have been working to establish our Asia Pacific offering over the last year and a half and are really starting to gain momentum in the region.
“APPEA is a fantastic event, as the largest upstream oil and gas forum in the southern hemisphere, it brings delegates and industry experts together from across the globe to share innovation and best practice.
“We are looking forward to seeing what the industry has to offer and finding out more about the exciting work in progress as well as sharing our own success stories to date.”
Mark, who transferred to Perth in 2011, is joined by Consulting Reservoir Engineer/Petroleum Economist Felicity Boyd to form the core RM team. Together they are responsible for all petro-technical, commercial and project management capabilities.
Mark said: “We’ve had the opportunity to work on some extremely interesting projects including advising on the incremental oil development potential of a field that was abandoned in 1940 but now looks to be an extremely viable prospect in South Sumatra and is only one of many such opportunities.
“We have also managed an independent verification of a multi-well workover programme where AGR RM, assisted by AGR’s Well Management division, was commissioned to review the proposed well re-entry programs and verify compliance against internationally recognised standards.”
Services offered by AGR RM Perth cover independent asset valuation, petro-technical services and reservoir study projects from pre-drill to end of late field life projects. The company also provides a wide range of E&P technical and commercial training courses through AGR TRACS Training.
AGR also boosted its Australian business with the launch of a new Subsea Project Management division earlier this year.
