AGR reservoir professional to hold a speech at upcoming reserve reporting and valuation seminar
Mahmood Akbar, Advisor Reservoir Engineering at AGR will hold a presentation at the upcoming seminar in Oslo covering the main aspects of reserve reporting and valuation of E&P companies.
The seminar, taking place on May 23, is jointly organised by Oslo section of SPE (Society of Petroleum Engineers), Oslo Stock Exchange and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
The main purpose of the seminar is to give quick insight into E&P company’s main reserve classification structure, introduce challenges of investment decisions and third party verification process.
The audience is expected to include E&P managements, financial analysts and investors, engineers and professionals working daily with the area.
AGR representative Mahmood Akbar will concentrate his presentation on the importance of correct classification of reserves and resources. Additionally, the presentation will give insight into Petroleum Resources Management System and introduce the framework of the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate’s guidelines.
Mr. Akbar has more than 20 years experience in the oil and gas industry. His professional career includes working on various reserve valuation and reserves' certification assignments. Mr. Akbar is also an acknowledged trainer within the AGR TRACS Training
professional course series which are tailor-made to our client’s specific requirements within the upstream oil and gas.
