The Geology of Geomechanics conference aims to bring together geologists and engineers from the petroleum, carbon sequestration, mining and geothermal communities to discuss the links between the geomechanical disciplines and mainstream geology.
AGR's Lead Geologist, Tim Wynn, will present a paper titled "The Chalk Reservoir of the Ockley Accumulation (Licence Block UKCS 30/1)
: In-situ stresses,
natural fractures and implications for stimulation" which has been written as a result of the collaboration between AGR, Maersk Oil, Axis Well Technology and TDE Group in Austria.
Wihtin its Geomechanics
offering, AGR provide a wide-ranging analysis involving the integration of geoscience and petroleum engineering disciplines to provide a comprehensive measured understanding of formation mechanical behaviour. This integrated approach ensures the most technically robust and cost-effective enhancements to hydrocarbon production are applied to a specific formation or field of our clients' asset portfolio.
