AGR’s Training division shortlisted to prestigious industry award
AGR’s TRACS Training has been shortlisted in the ‘Education Partnership 2015 Award’ category in the 2015 Getenergy Awards.
The awards ceremony is taking place at One Whitehall Place, London in June alongside Getenergy's 11th annual Global Education and Training Event aimed for the E&P industry. TRACS Training will yet again be exhibiting and showcasing its training portfolio at the two-day gathering.
The Getenergy Awards celebrate excellence in education and training for the global oil and gas industry across several categories. The Awards offer a high profile platform for the success stories whilst also providing a framework to measure, record and recognise achievement in areas of critical importance to the global oil and gas business.

AGR recently announced its collaboration with the honourable institution whereby the AGR team will contribute to the delivery of the petroleum engineering Masters programme. The partnership follows on from AGR’s involvement in the MSc Field Development Plan and Economics (FDP) course, which was a team-based integrated case study involving the technical and commercial development of an offshore oil field. The FDP exercise was developed and led by AGR’s TRACS Training and the students’ presentations were evaluated by a panel of industry professionals and academics from the University.
The new MSc Petroleum Engineering programme begins in September 2015 and is the latest addition to the world class suite of engineering programmes at the Aberdeen University bringing students closer to the energy industry.
