AGR Software team is excited to announce that it has had two papers accepted to the technical programme of the prestigious Asia Pacific Oil and Gas Conference and Exhibition (APOGCE), hosted by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), and we are looking forward to attending the event later in the year. conference.
The paper: "Identifying and Quantifying Risk in Well Abandonment Using Flow Charts and Probabilistic Planning" was developed based on the experience held by the AGR drilling team, gathered during the
Puffin field abandonment project. The client, SINOPEC Oil and Gas Australia, needed to look at the most effective method of carrying out the abandonment and AGR's
P1 was used to develop an understanding of the risks and probabilistic outcome associated with each decision step of the project management. As a result, seven subsea wells were successfully plugged and abandoned with final cost coming in within one per cent of Authorisation for Expenditure (AFE). Read the case study

Our second paper: "Ensuring Communication Across Software Systems" reflects the improvements and efficiencies achieved by implementing software solutions in user organisations, at the same time changing behavioural patterns to achieve productivity targets.
