AGR Software in strategic alliance to drive digitalisation across O&G industry
AGR Software and Norway-based Netscenario have joined forces to bring digital and automation expertise to companies across the oil and gas industry.
The partnership will build a unique offering that will help companies create digital processes that will improve cost and operational efficiencies.
The two software providers have previously collaborated to develop digital solutions for the upstream sector, combining AGR’s data management platform iQx™
and Netscenario’s 3D visualisation platform GeologiQ
Petter Mathisen, AGR Software Manager, said, “We are very pleased to be working with Netscenario once again. Our first project for AKER BP Ivar Aasen field was a real success, which allowed the Norwegian E&P company to improve cross-divisional integration as well as enabling engineering teams to create 3D models of the field using historic data. This has helped to mitigate risks and keep costs down.
AGR Software has been delivering software tools to AKER BP and Det norske for more than six years. The company was among the first to sign
for our tailor-made data and experience capturing system iQx™. The tool is developed based on the user feedback and after actively using the system for 2.5 years, AKER BP now have all their well logs and experiences in the platform.”
Stian Brekke, CEO Netscenario, added, “AGR Software and Netscenario each have a distinct set of skills and when brought together they create an unrivalled level of expertise. The combination of Netscenario’s GeologiQ and AGR Software proven tools will empower the users through the digitalization and produce knowledge out of data.”
