The two-year deal includes AGR’s latest software offering, iQˣ™ - designed to simplify the planning and execution of wells as well as maintenance and support services.
Petter Mathisen, VP of AGR’s Software Solutions division, said: “Lundin is a long-standing client of AGR and we have developed an excellent relationship over the years. This contract win is testament to that and, indeed, the capabilities of our iQˣ™ software.
“We pride ourselves on the fact that our software solutions are tried, tested and trusted, providing real results for our clients. As operators increasingly search for more efficient and safer working methods, our software addresses the need for increasing operational efficiencies.”
The software, initiated by two AGR senior drilling engineers, can be conveniently built into Lundin’s business, enabling their personnel to structure and organise internal experience transfer, knowledge sharing and data classification.
iQˣ™ software is currently set up for visual offset analysis, experience sharing and operations support covering an AGR-designed database with an overview of historic well data and experience from more than 6,000 wells drilled on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
