Description
For our Client we are looking for a Senior Marine Engineer
Qualification requirements
University Degree. Relevant industry experience might replace higher education requirement.
Minimum 10 years of experience with marine operations in development projects within the Oil and Gas industry, preferably from projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
Extensive experience from working offshore with subsea installation and intervention campaigns
Experience with subsea tie-backs, subsea production systems and offshore installation activities.
Knowledge of Norwegian regulatory requirements and industry standards related to marine operations

Personal skills:
A quality-focused, right-first-time attitude is required.
A proactive approach is required.
Team player and willingness to contribute; a “can-do” attitude is expected.
Flexible, honest and trustworthy; flexibility will be required due to the travelling needs and offshore campaigns.
Demonstrate sound work ethics.
Good IT software skills
Fluent in English; good level of Norwegian.

 
Job specific requirements
Participate in detailed engineering, with focus on marine operations and installation related issues for subsea structures, flexible risers, umbilical, dewatering and tie-ins.
Follow-up engineering and fabrication of subsea structures (riser bases, PLRs and PLEM)
Evaluate and provide input to marine operations related documentation and procedures.
Follow up the planning and safe execution of marine operations for the Clients field development
Recommend and document strategies for marine operations and other installation activities
Provide guidance and input to the Clients establishment of internal standards for marine operations and installation activities
Ensure that the relevant authority requirements and standards are complied with
Contribute to SIMOPS evaluations together with wells/drilling team
Participate and give input to Lessons learned, HAZID and HAZOP, risk assessments and other reviews, as relevant for the scope
