Qualification requirements

Relevant Bachelor or Master degree
A Bachelor degree with relevant practical experience can be considered equivalent with a Master degree.


+/-  5 years engineering experience within HSE / Drilling& Wells
Offshore experience will be considered an advantage.

Job specific requirements
Support Wells and Drilling Superintendent, coordinate and lead risk and HSE activities according to internal and external expectations and requirements, HSE goals and target KPI’s.Support in implementing initiatives to build a strong HSE culture in Drilling and Wells.
Main tasksHSE Operational follow-up
Provide day to day operational support to drilling and wells activities.
Monitor HSSE indicators and propose initiatives to act on weak signals.
Monitor HSSE indicators and provide regular insights in dedicated meetings.
Participate in morning calls and facilitate focus on upcoming risks for the operation
Follow-up of incidents, hereunder reporting and experience transfer
Participate in, or if appropriate lead, incident investigations if and when required
Work closely with Drilling & Well Intervention contractors to assure that contractor management satisfactorily address all safety issues and risks associated with the operation.
Drilling and Wells Planning
Provide and coordinate HSE input to the delivery of Application for Consent (AfC). Ensure correct involvement of other disciplines in the follow-up of any PSA questions related to the AfC.
Ensure that relevant HSE studies and assessments are carried out, as part of the well planning and AfC process.
Provide HSE input to rig intake activities
Oversee the implementation of a standard approach to HSE planning across Well Intervention Operation, Platform Drilling and planning of drilling with MODU rigs.
Ensure that the exemptions/dispensation processes are adhered to and that the rig’s AoC deviations are monitored according to commitments made
Preparation of HSE deliverables according to BMS. Coordinate and notify required preparation work for the drilling activity with other HSE resources in the firm
Facilitate and Prepare input to audit and verification program, and Participate in audits, as part of the Company’s duty to “see to”.
Prepare and participate in authority or partner audits as required of the drilling project.
Prepare and facilitate the delivery of emergency response bridging documents.
Facilitate the development and monitoring of the rig- or operation specific HSE program, based on D&W Overall HSE Plan.
Provide input to D&W HSE goals and KPIs  
Risk Management

Participate in, or if appropriate facilitate, risk assessments
Support and quality assure risk management process within drilling and wells
Support Asset in keeping risk register updated in PIMS

Actively participate in weekly HSE team meetings
Support the improvement agenda with input and proposals 

Ensure compliance to Norwegian Legislation and firm standards & processes related to EHS.
