University degree in relevant engineering subject.
Minimum 10 years’ experience within project execution including MC/commissioning and start-up in
the oil and gas industry, preferably in the context of subsea developments
Well-acquainted with completion systems and methodology for mechanical completion, preservation,
commissioning and system handover.
Minimum 10 years of Completion discipline work experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.
Extensive knowledge of PIMS CMS as Project Completion System
Extensive knowledge and competence within own discipline and demonstrate thorough understanding
for own business area
Well-developed interpersonal skills, and able to interface with contractors and hosts
Excellent communication skills, both orally and written
Be able to work structured independently of others
Be able to work irregular hours when necessary
Be able to travel to engineering/construction sites when necessary
Job specific requirements
Duties and responsibilities
Ensure that Mechanical Completion, Preservation, Commissioning and handover to firm Production are timely planned and executed, and in compliance with the Project requirements.
Establish a Commissioning network in the Project Completion System (PIMS CMS) as basis for planning of engineering, construction and completion activities and maintain the Project Completion System until project close-out.
Maintain the Project completion System (PIMS CMS). Ensure alignment with Company Management system and methods. Continuously follow up PIMS CMS status of all construction, preservation and
completion activities performed internally and at sites.
Perform training of Contractor and firm personnel in use of PIMS CMS where required.
Assist contractors in populating PIMS CMS with tag and equipment, and to identify and link necessary check records for Areas, Mechanical Completion and Preservation.
Define completion activities and milestones for the projects as input for the Project Integrated Schedule.
Contribute to completion activity planning and report status of the projects
Liaison with the host’s completion organisation and ensure alignment of the Integrated Completion Schedule and that system integration and testing is done in compliance with the Project requirements and the host’s management system and corresponding work processes.
Ensure implementation of QA/QC routines and procedures for the completion phase and follow up by site inspections and desktop reviews where required.
Contribute to the Management of Change process and to project risk workshops. Identify and follow up relevant risks and mitigating actions.
Prepare for and execute Commissioning activities to allow smooth hand-over of the Project to WINO Production.
Participate and advice in the preparation for start-up of production and provide input to the operation manuals.
Review documentation e.g. design documents and installation procedures necessary to secure the execution of commissioning and system hand-over to firm Production.
Liaison with the package responsible engineers to establish a design that simplifies and increase the efficiency of MC and commissioning execution.
Responsible for necessary interfaces on completion activities with the tie-in host and contractors Completion organizations.
Follow-up on preparation of FAT’s and participate at sites as needed.
Identify spare parts, consumables and temporary equipment/arrangements needed during commissioning.
Assist implementation of QA/QC routines and procedures for the Completion and Commissioning phase.
Provide input to Lessons Learned and the Project Close-out Report. Identify Carry Over Work (COW) and verify that all relevant information is included prior to handover to WINO Production.
