Qualification requirements
Minimum 3 years operational drilling experience
Good understanding of well control issues and requirementsQualifications
Valid NCS offshore safety course certificate.
Competency in Authority Regulations. Should have RVK course or similar experience (regelverk kompetanse kurs).
Valid certificate of medical fitness for working in petroleum activities offshoreIWCF well control certificate (current)
Job specific requirements
Main tasks and expectations
Follow the Drilling Department Governance and Leadership
Fulfil See-to duty responsibility offshore
Prepare Drilling detailed operational procedures
Participate in detailed planning sessions and programme reviews
Participate in Risk activities, analyses, HAZOPS and DWOP
Ensure proper offshore preparations for operations
Prepare DSV time estimates
Coordinate offshore drilling operations and handle interfaces with production activities and facilities
Coordinate communication between offshore and onshore teams
Prepare and verify relevant permits
Manage offshore logistics
Ensure cooperation between drilling department, drilling contractor and other suppliers/service providers offshore.
Ensure that operations are conducted in a safe manner according to firm requirements, rules and regulations and that firm intervention objectives are met.
Ensure that agreed well control procedures and understood, adopted and enforced
Monitor progress of operations and update reporting systems
Report or provide input to reporting of incidents and events towards firm and Authorities
Follow up HSE activities, rig inspections and auditing of contractors maintenance onboard the rig
Coordinate maintenance activities with drilling contractor to minimize operational impact
Lead well and rig handover processes
Identify and document lessons learned
Provide feedback for improvement of the Drilling Management System
