John Gallivan

John Gallivan has worked in the oil and gas industry since 1979 and has previous experience with BNOC, Britoil and BP Exploration. Having started his career as a reservoir engineer, he gained experience in IT and geoscience before returning to reservoir engineering, where he now specialises in field development and the application of horizontal and multi-lateral well technology. His commercial experience in field development planning is used extensively during his delivery of TRACS (now owned by AGR) Petroleum Economics and Risk Analysis training courses. In 2010 John took up the position of Technical Director in which role he lead RE training and development events as well as contributing and peer reviewing petroleum engineering input to AGR projects. John is now an associate for AGR TRACS.
