Holistic collaborative approach to assist our Clients’ upstream challenges

In today’s competitive climate, the upstream business requires careful technical and economic planning and a high standard of operational execution to be successful.
The decision framework for well delivery processes is about much more than well engineering. It’s about cost-effective design that’s safe and flexible enough to accommodate operational and geological production uncertainty.

The AGR service collaborative model has been designed to enhance value throughout the oilfield life cycle. It makes sure that each phase of the life cycle, from planning to operational execution, is captured and fed-back into the cycle to enhance performance and achieve operational excellence.

AGR is focused on our clients’ upstream sector needs.

Software designed by the end –user to create efficiencies and savings

Nowadays more than ever before value is generated from getting the planning phase right the first time; and from having the correct technology and applications to foresee and manage performance throughout the project’s lifespan. Operational cost constraints are more prevalent now than they have been in decades, and as a result AGR has invested heavily in developing software that focuses on streamlining operational project management allowing our clients create efficiencies and savings across the board.

AGR’s Software covers a range of issues. The CT™ software solution controls cost and time management. To understand the risks and uncertainties involved in well delivery, P1™ and iQx™ have been developed to help our clients achieve the highest of performance and QHSE standards. From frontier exploration to well abandonment and decommissioning

With over five hundred wells drilled in the last fifteen years and one thousand reservoirs studied in the last five years, AGR has experienced the advantages of taking a holistic, collaborative approach to the oilfield life cycle, bridging the gap between subsurface and drilling to reduce risk and the challenges associated with uncertainty. AGR’s clients benefit from having easy access to full engineering support at every stage, from frontier exploration right through to well abandonment and decommissioning.

AGR’s awareness of the hazards associated with drilling allows us to monitor and manage the risk and cost of operations and various field operating conditions, which could otherwise adversely affect the production of potentially successful wells.

The service offering at AGR  can be tailor made to the individual needs of our clients, meaning that we are flexible to take on a wide spectrum of work from ad-hoc well and HSEQ engineering studies to acting as a client's fully outsourced drilling department. AGR’s expertise covers onshore and offshore, deepwater, HPHT, extended reach, horizontal wells, underbalanced drilling, remote locations and operations in many environmentally sensitive areas. Subsurface Consultancy for wide spectrum of clients
Combining well engineering with subsurface risk and uncertainty knowledge allows for a thorough analytical view and more comprehensive decision criteria. This empowers the client to make better, more reliable decisions in less time with alternative and innovative solutions often providing an optimal result. AGR’s reservoir experience has been gained from all major basins and reservoir types, including challenging environments such as HPHT, gas condensates, heavy oil reservoirs and complex fractured reservoirs.

Providing independent reservoir management advice to a number of clients, including independents, national oil companies and investment groups, AGR manoeuvres seamlessly between well and reservoir management, allowing for shared knowledge and expertise to make the right decisions in real-time.
The company’s subsurface team comprises of approximately one hundred professionals covering the disciplines of geophysics, geology, petrophysics, reservoir and petroleum engineering, completions engineering and petroleum economics. The average experience level of a team member ranges between twenty to twenty-five years in the oil and gas industry, setting the company apart from competitors in the petroleum consultancy sector.
AGR’s Reservoir Management has extensive knowledge and experience in all major hydrocarbon provinces worldwide. Our clients can be confident that we deliver in upstream subsurface from exploration to field development planning, production engineering in conventional and unconventional resources, to looking at enhanced oil recovery techniques. AGR’s TRACS Evaluations team also plays its own critical role in Acquisition and Divestments and provides Competent Person’s Reports (CPR), Independent Engineering Reports (IER) and Reserves Audits. Training for growth

An essential part of the collaborative working model is the shared knowledge and the critical capture and transfer of this knowledge. AGR is uniquely specialised in its ability to conduct framework workshops to provide support from field development planning to well delivery processes to decommissioning. The TRACS Training division has an excellent reputation industry-wide and has provided tailor-made learning programs to more than twenty-five thousand oil and gas professionals in forty-five countries. The reputable senior tutors, who have worked for international exploration and production majors, deliver graduate, OpenAir, blended learning and Masterclass training programmes.
