AGR Enhanced Drilling designs, manufactures and operates drilling solutions for the global offshore industry. We provide safety-enhancing, benefit-delivering technological solutions to our customers. Our RMR® (Riserless Mud Recovery) system, together with its sister technology CTS® (Cuttings Transportation System), has been deployed on more than 500 wells worldwide. Meanwhile, our EC-Drill® system has taken us into the exciting sphere of Managed Pressure Drilling. Enhanced Drilling has offices in Norway, the United States, Brazil, Azerbaijan and Australia.

Enhanced Drilling is looking for the right person to lead our team in the conceptual and detailed development of our enhanced drilling systems. As Mechanical Lead Engineer, the successful candidate will lead and co-ordinate exciting on-going development activities including subsea mud pumps, control system, overall system and case studies for clients.

Qualification requirements
Applicants should have a BA or MSc in mechanical engineering or similar, plus a minimum five years’ relevant experience - including a minimum of three years as a senior engineer in offshore projects - preferably using 3D design-tool packages.

They should also have project leader / lead engineering capabilities.

For this position, Enhanced Drilling would like to hear from individuals with experience in the following areas or similar: system engineering, well control, well design, interface management, drilling, intervention, ROV or logging. Offshore experience, in particular from drilling, would be an advantage.

Main activities will include overall system description, sequence descriptions, interface management between system packages, reliability and safety analyses, FAT/EFAT/SIT testing, P&ID and flow diagrams, specification of relevant codes and standards.

The work will also include rig integration design tasks for our equipment packages, design of subsea equipment components, rig equipment handling systems etc. Experience from hydraulic design projects will be an advantage.
